On verso of frame in brown ink on the paper strips: 'Portico of Octavia, build by Augustus & named after his sister surrounding the temples of Jupiter and Juno. The remains consist of part of one of the principal instances under which we pass to the church of Sant Angelo called in Pescaria from the neighbouring fishmarket. In pencol on the backboard 'Pescheria' and 'Portico Ottavia' . A paper label on the left and right side of the frame is 'R70'.
