Description: A wooden box holding a handmade glass bowl which has been adapted for use as a bromine holder. The box is crudely made and is incomplete. two apertures have been cut in the box; one to allow a little light in, the other to allow the colour of the plate to be seen so as to judge the correct tint. The bowl has been scratched with the word BROMINE.
