The negotiation process with the European Communion is continuing well. We are looking forward to welcome a few new partners. If the negotation process will be succesful, the project to connect Daguerreobase to Europeana and to agregate over twentyfive thousand (25000) descriptions of mainly European daguerreotypes, will start in October 2012. Special attention for Private Collections. We like to encourage private collectors to bring their daguerreotypes into Daguerreobase. In the project, the Nederlands Fotomuseum will be responsable to collect daguerreotype descriptions and deal with the private collectors.
